To those of you who attended The National Championships you probably know that Ann has said she no longer feels able to come to Stoke.
She feels that the 30 + years although very enjoyable must come to an end & that now is the time to finish.
We could not let her leave without some recognition of our appreciation, so as she will not be back at Stoke Pauline Betteridge went to Lilleshall where with some members of our committee & squad members were there for training. They all gathered in The Performance unit & Pauline presented Ann with a crystal bowl engraved “Presented to Ann from BWAA”.
John Stubbs spoke some very kind words on behalf of the archers.
I am sure that all of us that know Ann will greatly miss her presence at the training weekends. All the very best to you Ann and thanks for everything that you have done for us.
